The Kielburger Brothers
Craig and Marc Kielburger are Canadian social entrepreneurs, New York Times bestselling authors, and brothers from Thornhill, Ontario, best known for spending their careers at the intersection of business and social change. Over three decades they have built organizations, written more than a dozen books between them, and spoken to audiences around the world, almost always working as a pair rather than as solo figures.
Their story started early. In 1995, at twelve years old, Craig read a newspaper story about Iqbal Masih, a former child labourer his own age who had become an activist, and decided to act. He and his older brother Marc founded Free The Children, an organization built on the idea that young people themselves could drive change on the issues they cared about. It grew into a global movement that worked alongside more than a million people, and the brothers later co-founded the social enterprise Me to We, which channelled business revenue into schools and clean water projects overseas.
In 2025 the brothers published What Is My Legacy? with Martin Luther King III and Arndrea Waters King, and the four co-host the My Legacy Podcast and nationally syndicated radio show. Marc's personal focus has turned to longevity, wellbeing, and purpose; Craig's to social entrepreneurship, connection, and family.
