The Hosts

Four hosts, one question

The show is co-hosted by Martin Luther King III, Arndrea Waters King, and Marc and Craig Kielburger: four people who have each spent decades thinking about legacy from different angles. The Kings bring a lineage where the word legacy carries unusual weight; the Kielburgers bring thirty years of building movements around the idea that ordinary people drive meaningful change.

The podcast grew out of What Is My Legacy?, the 2025 book co-authored by all four hosts. Its central argument is simple to state and hard to live: the legacy worth pursuing is not one of achievement, but of connection, love, and the relationships a person leaves behind.

The format: every guest brings a plus one

Most interview shows put one famous person in front of a microphone. My Legacy pairs each guest with a plus one: the person who shaped their story, whether a spouse, a sibling, a parent, or a best friend. The result is a different kind of conversation, less about the resume and more about the relationships underneath it, and it is why the show describes itself as redefining what it means to create a living legacy.

Guests have spanned business, wellness, justice, sport, and culture, including musician John Legend, basketball star Brittney Griner, actor Natalie Portman, human rights lawyer Bryan Stevenson, comedian Zarna Garg, wellness leader Melinda French Gates, and author Jay Shetty, each joined by the person who knows their story best.

From a book to a movement

The show grew out of What Is My Legacy?, the 2025 book co-authored by all four hosts, which carries a foreword by His Holiness the Dalai Lama and contributions from figures including Melinda French Gates, Simon Sinek, and Oprah Winfrey. Its argument is simple to state and hard to live: the legacy worth pursuing is not one of achievement but of connection, love, and the relationships a person leaves behind.

For the Kielburgers, the podcast is the natural continuation of thirty years of work built on the belief that ordinary people drive extraordinary change. For the Kings, it extends a family conversation about legacy that the world has been part of for generations. Together the four hosts turn that inheritance into something practical: a weekly reminder that legacy is built in daily choices, not final chapters.

Episodes air weekly and the show is syndicated as a radio program on more than one hundred iHeartRadio stations across the United States, with full conversations and clips on YouTube.

My Legacy Podcast

Where legacy becomes conversation

Each episode brings a well-known guest together with the person who shaped their story, for a conversation about what we inherit, what we build, and what we leave behind — hosted by Marc and Craig Kielburger alongside Martin Luther King III and Arndrea Waters King.

Episode spotlights

John Legend, Plus One

From Struggle to Systemic Change: the musician joins the hosts with his plus one for a conversation about where his story started and what he wants it to add up to.

Brittney Griner, Plus One

Writing a New Playbook: the basketball star and her plus one on resilience, freedom, and starting the next chapter on her own terms.

Zarna Garg and her daughter Zoya

The comedian and bestselling author on reinvention, raising entrepreneurial kids, and what it actually takes to start again.

Each conversation runs long enough to get past the talking points, and short enough for a commute. New episodes arrive weekly, and the radio edit airs nationally on iHeartRadio stations. The best place to start is the trailer, then whichever guest already means something to you: the plus one format makes even familiar names feel newly personal, because the person telling the second half of the story has never been part of the interview circuit.
